After the success of the second edition of “A Soup from the Heart“, we want to bring to your attention one more unique event we are a part of. It is “The Big Bang” exhibition, #красотаскауза. The Foundation Social Future – Jamba, Proface, and Event Cafe Boutique were event hosts. The goal was to raise funds to reconstruct a site in the Lozenets neighborhood. The place will be turned into a social space for training and creating jobs for specialists.
„Our goal is to support the development of people with different learning capabilities and to create a new social space for training in the arts of culinary and barista fields. It will also include art therapy and brainstorm sessions on ways to change society’s outlook.“ – says Joana Koleva, Chairman of the Social Future Foundation and the director of Jamba-Hub.
Until now, the foundation has offered cooking classes in collaboration with the municipality of Sofia for all young adults with intellectual deficits. Their mentors notice that culinary skills are not the only ones they pick up easily, and they encourage them to take art classes. Each lesson leaves a painting full of sense behind. Dr. Ivanka Shalapatova, Minister of Labor and Social Policy, is a patron of the exhibition
